Specialized service for people with disabilities (SSPD)

In partnership with Emploi-Québec, this service targets individuals aged 16 and over who have functional limitations and who wish to return to the work force through one on one meetings with an employment counsellor.

These limitations must be defined as persistent and severe by a health professional.

Services offered:

• Clarify employment goals: Identify a suitable job while respecting the participant's abilities and limits;
• Job search: Advise the participant on the tools and strategies allowing him to obtain employment;
• Job integration: Wage subsidy or other financial assistance programs, job accommodation, interpretive services, accessibility, etc.
• Follow-up and job retention: Coaching and support of efforts to keep the job.

Our team

Coaching is provided by employment counsellors with professional training and solid experience in employment integration.
