Gatineau (July 16th, 2009) - After  40 weeks of training, amongst which 8 weeks of internship, the Center for Integration Office Adapted for the Disabled People has the privilege to congratulate the students of cohort 2008-2009 for their end of their training program.

After diligent work, the students living with a physical disability have the honor to accept a certificate from the Integration Office Adapted for Disabled People awarded by La Commission Scolaire des Portages-de-l'Outaouais.

The shortage of competent employees can be scary for employers. However, individuals living with a physical disability represent incredible potential. Such as mentioned by Caroline Roger in her article It is easy to hire a handicapped person! appeared on July 4th, 2009 in the newspaper La Presse: "On 750 000 persons handicapped in Quebec, about 400 000 are able to work, but only 120 000 have jobs. "

The Center for Integration Office Adapted for Disabled People have the mission to help them return to the job market individuals living with a disability. This free training is given in partnership with La Commission Scolaire des Portages-de-l'Outaouais and Emploi-Québec.

The Center for Integration office adapted for the disabled people is presently searching for new participants who will be joining in September of this year. We welcome the interested!
